I can tell fanon has superceded actual canon in some people's minds when I go on reddit and see people post takes like:

"Why did Nacho call Lalo a soulless pig? I get he was a Salamanca, but Nacho had no logical reason to hate him? :("

As if one of Nacho's first impressions of Lalo wasn't him giggling as he reminded Hector how they tortured and set fire to a hotelier and his wife for turning down Hector's money, like Papa Varga did.
